Does this ROM have any effect on market app visibility?

I had to do the same thing as MrDSL. No biggie though.

One thing I am noticing though is the Sync Icon keeps getting stuck in the status bar. So far have only noticed this when i bring it out of sleep. I go into accounts and sync, and see if anything is syncing, once contacts was, 2nd time nothing. so i tell it to cancel all syncs and then click the sync all now. done in a couple secs. Just letting you know. This Rom is awesome thanks.

Any performance difference versus the stock ROM? Just curious as I've noticed a fair amount of lag on the EVO (stock ROM) compared to my Hero (running Fresh ROM 2.1.1) when switching between home screens and using the app launcher.

are you High ? really ive had NO lag @ all even with the stock rom

Unfortunately not Every EVO I've tried so far exhibits a noticeable lag on the home screens versus my Hero. I've heard others mention this as well. Let me be clear though, in absolutely every other way the EVO completely blows my Hero out of the water.

Perhaps this is just something that some people don't notice, or my Hero is on crack

Everything seems to be working fine. Radio doesn't seem to change any signal strength representation but 4g works. Speedtest runs less smoothly when testing on a 4g connection now though. Felt comfortable enough to personalize everything and set backups. Game on.

The only time I had Lag was when I was installing multiple apps at a time and it would lag, but never any other time. On the custom I am seeing no lag, except when installing, but that is to be expected.

Goto Setting>Account and Sync> Down at bottom you have sync all \ cancel sync and add account. yours will probably be cancel sync since it is running. Click it and the icon should go away. from there you can sync all and it should actually run through the sync.

So far so good..I didnt find titanium loaded anywhere which was weird but i just installed it off the market.

Unfortunately I had to do this like 3-4 times, but in the end this worked for me too!

Loaded this ROM last night. Besides the "accounts and sync" issue (which is now fixed) everything seems to working flawlessly for me including 4G. I love it!

Have you set window animations and the other in spare parts to fast like ya no doubt did in your hero that may be the reason

Yes, I think the sync issue is due to some settings being stuck in the sync. Canceling it a few times today solved it for me.

Titanium is there. When you wipe, you should also wipe the dalvik cache and it would have appeared. Gotta look at to why it did that but, I am not too disturbed since removing the dalvik wipe is nbd.

No lag here, just wish battery life didn't suck for me. It's not a knock on the Evo either. I work in a building with the worst signal ever. And cdma and weak signal is awful. Gsm is "smart" in terms of conserving power with low signal, cdma technology is full steam ahead trying harder in weak areas. Dumb dumb dumb....

Thanks for all the testing so far... I know we are all giddy over getting 2.2 eventually.

Has anyone noticed that "System Updates" in settings isn't working? Of course I'm not worried about the firmware update, but update profile, update PRL, and HTC Software update don't work either.

Sorry if this has been mentioned here, but I looked and didn't see anything. Maybe I overlooked it somewhere...

Hrm, I don't get an error. Tells me things are completed. I am also up to date.

Are you getting a specific error that leads you to believe it ISN'T working?

We want a custom boot image. But not some stupid Sprint one... RvU... RAINBOWS vs UNICORNS... (can't make this stuff up people), should have a Rainbow, a Unicorn, probably Andy (I call him Andy, the little green robot) and an explosion. Cause, explosions make everything cooler... animate that sucker, throw a little pew pew pew in there, and it's the official RvU Boot animation. If we get several, it'll be by votes, but seriously, It's a tall order and it requires more than a modicum of awesome...

Go forth and make those leet haxor whatevers...

Just wanted to mention one other good thing about this ROM. Original Rom was running right at 100F. Now I am staying around 88 - 90F. That is a good thing. I am right at 9hrs with WI-FI active the whole time. Outside of a 5 - 10 min turn off testing speeds of 3G and 4G earlier. As for the Titanium not being there. I did do a Delvic Whip + Cache, but again, having to install one app is nothing. As to the Rainbows vs. Unicorns. Wow, didn't realize that was what the RvU stood for. Keith your a riot.
