[ROM] RvU 1.3.2 WORKING 4G!!! Sync Fixed / ROM Manager Support

Keith I hope to have my list of acceptable sprint apps you can remove done sometime this weekend. I will pass your way when finished. I can say with 100% certainty do not let people remove Friendstream (if they are going to use any social networking), any of the social networking apps that go through friendstream, news, weather, or stocks.

The firendstream and social networking will cause sync-loops. The news, weather, and stocks will prevent the accounts sync screen from opening, just force closes.

Awesome stuff... I appreciate your unrelentless help in testing breakage.

I've now burnt out TWO SD cards doing some testing.

New ROM is up, 1.3.2, edited first page. Friendstream is DEF back into System/app to avoid anymore of these push/pull issues. The widget is still removable though.

It seems if you don't use Facebook for HTC sense then friendstream can be removed well actually if u just set it to not sync live feed then it should sync fine even with using Facebook

but then you don't get the contacts or the calendar updated, if you use that kind of stuff.

^^ this. But if you do it, be sure to uncheck live sync feed before you flash it away, or do a wipe.

Well now facebook and friendstream doesn't work at all. I get no syncing or anything. When I click sync, it pops on for a sec.. then pops right back off

I can get into friend stream by clicking the side arrow and see my friends updates, but as far as the widget, no updates and pictures of my contacts and calendar events, none..

Update** Rebooted my phone and now EVERYTHINGS working Great job guys!!! Love it!

You have not had to do that since koush's "Fake-Flash" was released

With the new rom you can get into recovery through the "Rom Manager" App

Well so far so good for me. I had to kill the camera task again, and i got a force close in Android Town, but everything else seems to be okay so far. Will keep you up to day on that as things are used. I tested 4G, works, Wi-Fi works. Let me know if there is anything you want me to test.

flashed from rooted stock rom to your rooted 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 and having no problems.

Wiped from rooted stock rom to your 1.3.1, did not wipe when going to 1.3.2

Using radio image you provided, noted increase in signal strength

Well all I can say is son of a biscuit eating fool. My phone now thinks the SD card has been removed. This happened after i tried to apply the radio. So took out card backed it up formatted it with SD Formatter. Then tried again, still SD card has been removed. So Okay, let me try my other one. Same thing. Any ideas guys? Thanks.

when i use rom manager to reboot to recovery it does nothing. just sits there. anyone else?

Yeah did the same for me. Then I did the new RvU1.3.2 and ran the rom manager to reboot to recovery, it actually rebooted. then went a black screen with a phone and a red triangle. Then it rebooted to the phone. so I unistalled it. not working for me. And the ADB is saying error: device not found when I try and connect to the phone.

alright, when i rebooted it went directly to the rom. so i guess it queues it up and then loads it after i do the button combo. anyway . . . after it loaded the new rom it all appeared fine. however, now i don't get a signal and the signal strength indicator only shows four bars instead of five. again -- NO SIGNAL. did a reboot and the same thing. everything seems fine, but there is absolutely no signal.

when i use code *#*#4636#*#* and goto phone info -- it won't even load phone info. nothing.

reflashed 1.3.2 and same thing. tried to go into settings>wireless and getting FC com.android.settings. just passed gas. what a relief. gonna go back to 1.3.1. gf gonna be mad 'cause i was supposed to be there a while ago.

rant:

hate how recovery through rom manager makes you scroll through every folder on SD card to find .zip you wanna flash. i guess it's good if you hide .zips in other folder other than root of SD card. just sneezed and nobody said bless you. dog looked at me, though.

Check to make sure the mobile network is turned on. I have the widget for in and had to toogle it a couple times and it started working after that.
