Rom setup for droids?

Quite frankly, I am not quite sure where to begin. The droid pro is my first smartphone. So far I have only rooted with. How do I get a new "rom"? In LAYMEN terms.

There are three ROMs that I know of for the Pro. CM9 CM7 and apeX 2.0. Google Droid PRO ROM and you will get everything u need. I am using apeX 2.0
