Yeah that works, but I want to edit the framework so tethering is accesible through settings.

Potentially silly question, but is JIT, hardware acceleration, and/or stagefright enabled "out-of-the-box" with this ROM? I know with other ROMs there were different buildprops (or that awesome shell script with nameless/reborn) that would allow you to set per your liking. If I recall, one of the more recent OTA updates enabled JIT by default and you based this off of the latest so I'm guessing JIT is enabled. Not sure about the others.

jit appears to be enabled. hardware acceleration and stagefright are not.

after running a combo of ThundeRom and ReBorn since I rooted in Jan, and having all of the customizations, I have to say that I forgot how much I liked stock froyo. kudos to you nick. great job man.

Stock style battery life

after 4 hours of very light use (about 2 hours of non-use because of work), i am all the way down to 66% battery. at this point with reborn, i would still be in the high 90's.

Guess what, it isn't the ROM causing battery drain. I tested this ROM and it had the exact same battery life as Reborn. 24 hours with moderate-heavy usage.

If you are doing a fresh flash make sure that you are at 100% battery life before flashing. If you still have bad battery life it is an application causing battery drain.

5 hours 24 minutes unplugged... 2 10 minute phone calls, a few texts, checking facebook/weather about once every 30 minutes, and i'm still at 89% battery life. 0% time without signal. Have gingerbread theme, gingerbread launcher, and pickasticks kernel running at 768/245 interactive.

Oh yah...and a live wallpaper too

Since my phone has not been stock since i brought it home from the store I have no idea what "stock style battery life" is ......lol
