im still running 4/27 2.3.3 ... just cus it was said that this rom had many bugs amd wasnt fully stable yet .. how is it now?

and which kernel is best for the 4/27 2.3.3 performance and battery life wise

I want to update to 0523, but i have alot impove txt msg. how can avoid it delete my txt msg?

I used 3g today for like 20-30 mins and it really killed my battery, i had it at 31 ish and in like two hours it was down at 13 when i only used 3g for like 20 minutes. I think its mostly the 3g thats killing it.

defcon545: 3G is a known battery killer. Atleast it always have been for since CM5 on various devices. Depending on your area...i.e. if you're in a low signal zone 3G will go into 1x or search for towers endlessly. Which drains the battery dramatically. Best I could advise you to do is go back to stock and use the activate app then come back. Or call VM and tell them to use Sprint's roaming as well ;)

Sheesh, i dont know whats up with your guy's batteries but mine is working great!

I know that trick ;) heroC battery life

Just flashed the 5/23 update, and the battery icon in the notification bar isn't showing percentage. Various themes don't add it. Any way to get that back?

Go into the cyanogenmod settings from the settings menu and select "interface." Then select "status bar tweaks." You'll find a battery percentage option there.

tl;Dr settings>CyanogenMod settings>Interface>Status bar tweaks>battery percentage

why you on 5/23 :P

check rom manager

I'm still pretty new to this, I've been backing up, wiping, and flashing each one like new, I'll check out rom manager.

ETA: not sure what I'm looking for. It says OTA updates not available. First post says the 5/23 version is the latest.

Rom Manager problem people: Open Rom Manager, press Menu...Manual flash override. Select LG Optimus One...it doesn't flash anything. Then you can "Download Rom"
