Check out launcher pro if you haven't already. Its customization possibilities are endless as well as a scrollable dock that comes in handy. I love it.

Yeah i use to use launcher pro alot but im currently using adw launcher

Agreed. Love it, but just switched to SPB's 3D shell for some eyecandy.

It looks the same as zefies it just has adw launcher and it is version 2.3.4, i can post some pics if you want.

Dude this ROM is simply amazing. I have used a lot of ROMS and this takes the cake. And it is still a work in progress. Anything I can do to help, let me know.

***bug or suggestion ***Within the privacy menu in settings the ability to format your phone from within android is still there. This can leak to bricked phones, I believe. I am well aware, but it would be maybe something to take out

You would need to remap the keys since the home and menu keys are reversed between the 2 phones. Also, you would need to edit the apns-config.xml and the eri.xml files so that it says Virgin Mobile instead of Sprint and along with apns-config.xml you would need to modify the mms.apk so that picture mail would work. Check out the thread (can't remember the name) that has flashable zips for our OS to use aospCMod. You should be able to look at those for examples of what needs to be changed to get it working properly on the OV.

Does this ROM allow App2SD like Cyanogen for every app installed regardless of if it says it cannot be moved to SD?

More interestingly, does data2SD work on this Rom?

This is my first post! Excuse me my second lol! but have been romming since Feb. I tried most 2.2 roms as well as 2.3 roms and this is my fav. so far and yes it is a work in progress but so far great, and is very fluid, and stable, and Blazing fast imo! Keep up the good work, and thanks also to the folks that test these roms!!!

For those who were questioning audio quality. I through my SK earbuds on my phone and rocked out while at work today.

Audio quality is pretty much what I would expect, while I had to make a few slight changes in the DSP eq to get it to ideal this was the main reason I had been wanting to switch to a gingerbread rom in the first place.

I should note that I am an audio technician in my spare time and the earbuds in question were purchased for the fact that they had as good of or better sound quality ratings than most studio headphones

In short, using the EQ properly allows for as good or better quality than on a froyo based rom, since the EQ is disabled from the beginning and therefore default to flat the audio without changing the EQ does actually sound worse at first but I would not blame the rom for this rather than the defaults which I would assume are standard for most if not all gingerbread

Can anyone verify that calls work with earbuds with a microphone?

Thinking of flashing this tonight and this is very important as I don't use Bluetooth.

this is the 3rd cm7 based rom that i've used on my optimus and i'm very impressed. i dont have to pair my stereo bluetooth after rebooting anymore, the camera zoom mostly works and the system in general is way smoother. and lol i can recieve mms again thanks bro.

now please put the theme chooser on your next build.
