I have had my rezound since Dec 11. i bricked my first one (Nov turkey week) when trying to install a rom... 2nd rezound showed up on Dec 11 and I begin enjoying it. I throw on Cleanrom 1.6 and 1.7 Using google play music the whole time... I decide I'm gonig to bit the bullet and get ICS. Install RUU and it's flawless and still using google music just fine... Last friday I move over to Venom Rom Google Music no longer will see my device. I'm not longer able to grab music from the online service... I hope i just made a tiny mistake but i'm afraid i didn't and i have already reached googles limit for the music,...

I'm on Viper Rez also and I just tested Play Music. Seems like no issue here.

have you uninstalled and reinstalled? Cleared data? Made sure you have the account associated all over again?

Google got rid of the limit on the number of devices you can deauthorize and authorize so that should not be the issue.

I would check the settings and make sure the proper account is associated.

If you've been ROM'ing this whole time, head over to Google music (from a PC) go under settings and de/unauthorize all of the other incarnations of your phone.

Yeah I deAuth them all... On Venom Google Play Music shows as a built in app So I don't get an uninstall just a disable which i have done...
I also removed the download over wifi only in the settings..the program does show that my google email that has the music is the account to use.

ok check your sync

go into accounts, click on google, scroll down until you see music, uncheck it, then recheck it, it should try to sync it right away

Pizza Very close to the fix Kudo's for you... Venom doesn't have a place to uncheck but what you can do is click on it and it begins the sync (which is now working) and I didn't have auto sync on at all... grr

anytime! glad it is working.

Just for future reference, there is a check box right there and if you uncheck it, then recheck it, you will see the sync symbol in the top corner start to go around....the same for everything in there if you want to force it
