ROMS for EVO Shift?

also i previously backed up the wimaxx keys i do not have 4g in my area how so i recheck and or reload the backed up keys

To load a kernal you don't do the wipe data/factory reset. You do need to clear the two other wipes,both cache and delvak cache, or whatever its called. If you did the factory reset than you need to flash a rom ,or restore and than reflash the kernal. I did this for the first time yesterday so, I am no expert but it worked for me and I'm running at 1300 MHz stable. Also don't forget to get setcpu or something like it so you can control the CPU settings. I don't know about the wimax keys.

looking for a good ROM with full iptables support, for TORifying everything.

CyanogenMOD 6.1 was recomended to me, but its not available for the Shift yet

any other suggestions, or should i just wait for now?

I'm still waiting for a vanilla AOSP based ROM. 2.3 would be nice, but I'll settle for 2.2.
