Hi all,

I recently rooted my phone and installed the Viper ROM on my HTC One M7 and it worked well, but then saw MaximusHD ROM and thought I would try another. Anyway I installed the ROM with no issue going through the installer picking the options I wanted, however after the phone restarts it shows the unlock screen (with the time and battery at the top), when I try to unlock it I get the HTC green text on a white screen and I cannot do anything except use the volume controls, it then restarts itself going through the logo process again and again. Also my SIM card is inserted into the phone but no network is show.

I have TWRP V2.6.3.0 recovery installed.

I managed to get Cyanogen ROM installed, I can unlock the phone and play about with it for a few minutes but it then restarts itself and again does not show any network activity even tho an active SIM is inserted.:'(

This happens to other ROMs I have tried such as Android Revolution HD 22.0 and including the Viper that I installed before. Does any one have any idea why this is happening? Phone details are:

***TAMPERED***
***UNLOCKED***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.54.0000
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-2.24.401.8

Thanks for your time and many thanks in advance for the help

Did you do a complete wipe. Davlik cache and such? I usually do a factory reset as well before I flash a new rom

Sent From My HTC One On Verizon...

Yes I did. Someone mentioned something about my phone being a Sprint phone, does this make a difference? Do Sprint phones require certain ROMs? Link please><

Looks like you never flashed a different kernel every Rom has it's own kernal I had this issue on my galaxy note I had to bin the phone cos Samsung said I rooted so they returned me the phone back bloody idoit I was I will never root a phone again keep it stock all I had was a big nightmare of faults.......

I have TWRP V2.6.3.0 recovery installed.

I had nothing but issues with that TWRP version on my HTC ONE. I installed 2.5.0.0 all my issues when away. Might not be your issue, but it helped me.
