@brett,
I already installed autokiller and been using if for 2 days now. Works without any problem with my optimus one. thanks for recommending this app.
Not a problem asuma. the one thing you may notice with autokiller is if you multitask a lot, certain apps may get killed off. for me it might have been due to me setting it to aggressive. Not to sure but either way it is worth it
OK, this is a good ranting thread from both sides.
I have been looking at rooting for a few months on the HTC Evo 4g. My problem is after combing through forums and wiki's here and there, I can't find a definitive list of instructions or a wiki. Something centralized. For instance, I know what rooting does and I know that I should backup the device. But what I don't know is if I can really restore the device back to Factory default easily. If something goes wrong, what do I do? And what I should do in preparation for the root. Once I am done rooting, and I want to load a few custom ROMs here and there, is there an easy process? Do I ever have to involve Sprint in getting the phone connected after ROM replacement?
I am not looking for anyone to answer these questions (but feel free). Instead, I am looking for a very good resource that has these answers so I can do some reading. A link to "the best" wiki or forum. If anyone has that, please shoot that link as a response. I would appreciate it.
