Root method? Whos gonna be the first to build a custom rom?

So did anyone else get excited and forget to download a rootkeeper before updating? I am gonna try to find a root method that works for ics, unless someone already knows one? i might just roll back to zvd and re root. if i cant find anything out

The things you learn after it is too late. I would love to have root back too. I did not know there was a way to keep it before the update.

I'm making the zip CWM flashable so you can flash the update and then SuperSU.zip. Just give me a couple of minutes.

It's done now. You need to go back (you can stay at ZVC for this method) use the unbricking method that tommy provided (it's stickied in the forum or located here http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...s840-back-too-ls840zvc-ls840zvd-firmware.html), then install PandaRecovery and flash it. The installation guides for each steps are on the appropriate threads.

I just rolled back to zvd rerooted and then updated again
