root n9005 and backup current firmware to later unroot

I am thinking about root my Europe n9005
but first I like to backup the current stock rom so later I can unroot again
how do I do this

also whats currently the best way to root, and without knocking knox?

Root first, load safestrap make a backup in nandroid, then think of the substitute rom.
XDA has details on all of this -including file links. ;-)

so I could just root and keep using the standard rom?
and later simply unroot?

o what about knox? possible root and unroot without tripping knox?
