S25 Location for Secure Folder Setting Update?

After One UI 8.0 update, when I go to settings app on S25 than location settings. There's now a location for secure folder. Is it just location for the app itself or for location access for apps inside secure folder. I'm confused.

It's location for any app in the Secure Folder. However, inside Secure Folder, you can still have granular control of which apps can access your location.

So isn't it location access for the secure folder app itself? The apps inside have their own location permissions?

Yeah, not sure why they made this so confusing. The 'main' toggle is like an overall on/off switch. But inside Secure Folder (just like your individual apps on 'normal' mode), you can still turn location permissions on/off for each app.

For instance, if you turn the general switch on, but you deny Instagram location permissions, then other apps can still use location services, but not Instagram. If you turn the general switch off, then no app will be able to use location services.

My best guess is they added that switch for Secure Folder so you don't have to turn off location on/off from 'normal' mode and still be able to keep Secure Folder 'in the dark' in terms of location.
