Root NOOB Question - Unsuccessfully Trying to Flash BAMF Forever

Ok - I have read through the stickies and have followed the directions in this thread FAQ How to flash a ROM.

It appears to flash with no issues however when I reboot I am stuck at the white HTC screen for over 10 minutes. I pull the battery and go back to recovery and can restore successfully but for the life of me I can't get BAMF Forever to work...

What am I doing wrong? Am I being to impatient? Other ROMS haven't taken more than a few minutes to boot back up...

Did you flash 1.0.8 or the PATCH of 1.0.9??? You should flash 1.0.8, then right after that is done, flash the 1.0.9 Patch.

I used 1.0.9 from this link [GB][2.11.605.5][Sense3.0]BAMF Forever 1.0.9

That looks like a full ROM to me...

Fixed squashed camera (thanks eris)
Updated build.prop to show proper build version
Enabled sip over everything, I think. Not just wifi. Don't ask me how to use it, LOL.
Sped up some transitions
Removed broken vvm app

Most Sense ROMs... the FULL ROM will be approx 300MB in size.

Only if you did not have a Gingerbread Radio loaded... I've been running 1.48.00.0906w_1, 0.01.78.0906w_2 (which is usually called MR3, it's the last official radio released with the last GB OTA ROM by VZW) and it's worked well on any ROM I've used since it came out.
