Root now or wait to see what comes fromthe official GBsourcecod

Since HTC released the official GB source code, should I wait to see what dev's put out over the next few months or root now if we already knew the source code?

I need my TB to do things that my rooted OG Droid did great for me.

1. Sync with Outlook both ways. If I update my calendar on my TB, my desktop version of outlook does not update changes. OG Droid did this.

2. Downloads from work websites fail on TB, worked on OG Droid.

also, will rooting even solve this problem?

What ROM are you running... stock or a custom ROM???

Custom is the way to go... some of the good programmers already are working with the latest releases... check out BAMF Forever... currently he is using the 2.11.605.5 release in his 1.0.9 version of Forever.

I would say GO FOR IT with Forever 1.0.9. You can enjoy the cool ROM now and when the newest treats come out, you can flash to that. That is what I am doing!

I use Gmail and Google Calendar so. I haven't used Outlook mail in a long time.

Thanks for the links, appreciate it. The second link you provided got my phone syncing with my Outlook calendar.
