root Samsung Galaxy S2

G'day All,

Im pulling my hair out, I'm trying to root my samsung
Galaxy S2, i have searched the formus and websites.
Everything I have read or tried either doesnt work or its
a contradiction. i have Odin Installed on my PC
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Phone - Samsung Galaxy S2 (Not badged/carrier supplied) - bought it outright
Model - GT-I9100
Android Version - 4.0.3
Bandbase - I9100XXLPS
Kernel - 3.0.15-I9100XWLP8-CL356487 dpi@DELL173#3
Build IML74XWLp9

After everything I have read, I thing I just need a good reliable Mod/rom

my biggest problem is I have updated the OS to 4.0,3 , i am reasonably sure
thats why nothing is working the way I think it should.

I can appreciate the are 1000000 + 1 requests about this, i have read so many, and its got me nowhere.

Any help is very much appreciated
