Root? Thinking of rooting my vivid, any thoughts?

I can help, I did it to my phone. First off, now that your boot loader is unlocked, you can now successfully flash a recovery. Using Hansoons All In One kit is very basic, it beats having to type "flash flash recovery recovery.img" Just place your phone into fast boot USB and click on "WCX Recovery" and the Hansoon program will do the rest. Let me know when you have done this.

Hey guys I am coming from a Moto Atrix so I am new to the HTC world.. I feel like I am starting all over again some things seem similar but looks like I have to get my reading on until i feel comfortable to root.

Ok, I'm stuck. I unlocked my bootloader then flashed the recovery file, selected bootlader and then recover in the boorloader menu and it restarted my phone and now I can't start it up into the bootloader menu. Not dead though so I'm still optimistic about rooting.

Pull battery and try again, Fast boot is probably enabled.
