Root/touch screen help

Hi, I just got a Nook Color today and I've been trying to root it. Whenever I do so, it says installation successful and then when I remove the card and reboot the system, it gets stuck in the loader. So I wiped all the data and the cache, tried to restart it again, and I make it to the new setup, and now my touch screen is unresponsive. I don't know what I did wrong or why it's doing that, so I did a factory reset within the Nook itself, which didn't work either. Please help me.

Sounds like you have a Nook with a new touchscreen, follow my sticked restoring to stock guide and use the 1.4.1 zip.
