I've searched and searched everywhere but cannot find an answer at all, so I ask all of you...
I followed the instructions at How-To Root your stock 2.1 Droid to root my Droid. I'm trying to change the UI sounds as outlined at Guide to changing "Audible Selection" sound or any other ui sound - Android Forums.
Now, my problem...every time I type "adb remount" I get the error "remount failed: operation not permitted". And when I try "adb root" I get the error "adbd cannot run as root in production builds".
I have searched everywhere for a solution, but I can't for the life of me find an answer. Please help; this is driving me crazy!
