rooted but no adb??

cant get access to unlock nand. have rooted my evo and running ruu baked snack. ( testing to see if it really does wat it says with the battery life) cant get the adb to connect to my evo. says no device detected. what can i do?ive tried several times and no luck. running w7 64bit. i have all updated sdk info and drivers. thanx for any input

Is USB debugging on?

I leave mine on usb debugging and put it in charge only mode before I connect through the shell via the sdk.

have tried with it on and off .. and in charge only and in usb mode. really stumps me as to what the issue could be. im new to android but not "fixing" lol.

Have you tried it in Sync? Just disable the Sync Client on your PC. This worked for me (W7, 64bit).

b4 checking it says daemon started successfully.
then error: device not found

was driver issue. forgot to run the htc driver thing. but all is well and i have nand ! will truly test the baked snack rom.
