Rooted, Rom'd, Kernal'd, need allshare! :/

Rooted, JT's Stupid Fast, Super Dark.

Obviously Allshare isn't in this rom, so I've put dlna.apk and dlna.opex into system/apps but I'm still getting nothing in my apps folder.

Help anyone?

Note; I've seen the thread on allshare somewhere on here with no avail.

You did reboot? Are you using ADW with a custom appdrawer? These are silly things but just wanted to be sure.

I had not tried to add it to DL09 but I had it on DJ05. After adding it to clean .4, it appears to be working fine.

There are some Deodexed full roms for DI01 and DJ05 I believe. You might be able to get it from there.

+1. Most apps from the original file system aren't going to work on a deodexed ROM like JT's. Sonofskywalker3 has a lot of them that will though.

I pulled mine from a Deodexed DJ05 I believe. Might have been DI01. Worked just fine.

Right. Because it was a deodexed version of the app. The stock odexed ones (aside from the rare few that don't actually NEED their corresponding .odex file) won't work on deodexed ROMs. The one's in ROM Manager are deodexed versions of the stock apps, so they'll work on either ROM type.
