[ROOTED] Verizon SGS3 Got 3G before root now only 1x

Help! I rooted my friend's Verizon SGS3 and now it says it's only getting 1x data! It's actually running faster than mine in a side-by-side comparison, and mine is a rooted SGS2 with 3G. I don't have 4G in this area so I can't tell if that's working. He's freaking out even though it seems to be working fine, just saying the wrong thing... is that possible? I rooted with CWMR and flashed a stock Verizon 4.1.1 which is what he wanted. Any suggestions?

It's probably just fine, but I've heard of data problems occurring from rooting. Seeing it's able to load things fine over the network I would just say it's an android issue. Reboot the phone and see if that works. But as long as it's able to connect to the network and load everything fine don't freak out, it's just a network monitoring issue. The phone is fine, you shouldn't have to worry

You could also re flash the modem.
