Rooted with Reborn Rom has question

Hi all,
Before I rooted my optimus s, it was laggy, and gmail would not push my emails, I had to constantly refresh to get my latest emails.

After installed reborn rom the phone was very responsive, and my emails were pushed instantly!
But know after almost 3 months my phone is back to being unresponsive and can't get my emails pushed anymore!!!!
What it's going on? I have plenty of internal memory, over 50%, I did a clean applications cache with
titanium to no avail.

Do I have to start from scratch and clean my phone and re-install reborn again?:-\.
What is causing this? Its is the android OS that after a while gets full of garbage like the olde windows and starts to slow down?
I'm at a lost here, any help would be great.

Thanks, but as I mentioned earlier I already did, even wiped the data, works for a few days and then stops pushing the e-mails.
Can't figure out why is doing this, worked great after installed reborn rom, but now I have to manually sync, check all the settings. Have plenty of phone memory... WTH?

Try going to Settings>Accounts&Sync>Check Gmail

If not, ill give you a rom that syncs it perfectly. I have problems with ny Gmail too.

Thanks, I went to settings>accounts & sync settings: I have Background data and Auto-Sync Checked. Then, under manage accounts: is my google account>data & sync: I have every thing checked except google play books. I unchecked Picasa Web albums, see it that would help.
I checked off and on Auto-Sync and the phone started sync my mail...
Will see what happens...

So far so good, gmail has been pushing my emails all day. It could be that gmail was set to sync with the picassa account, but I don't have one set up? Since I unchecked that sync, now seems to work again.
See how long until starts to act up again.
