I rooted my Xoom and running Eos 1.0.0 ROM

I noticed that my battery life started sucking and went to see what was eating it and discovered that the Android OS itself was the culprit.

What is causing this?? Any thoughts or suggestions to rectify this??

I'm having the same issue. I'm going to search xda to see if there is a solution.

I use the same ROM. I would say make a backup in your recovery first. Then, from within your recovery do a full wipe and flash the ROM and Gapps again.

Make sure you backup everything you wanna save. Use titanium backup for that, its great. Make the Nandroid in recovery in case anything happens and you end up in a boot loop.

Make sure your downloading rom on PC and check md5 sum of file downloaded. Make sure md5 sum matches original file.

Downloading large files directly to Xoom can cause problems.
