rooting and lag fix help

so I just got my fascinate a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty interested in doing the lagfix but Im worried something might go wrong. I just want to know If there is an easy way to root my fascinate and be able to install the lagfix easily.

There are several ways to root, the easiest being the z4root app. Read up on the different ways.

As far as the lag fix goes, I would stay away from it. You honestly most likely don't need it, and it causes more problems than it solves

got that right!!! stay away from boodoo. also make sure you know how to flash back to stock. sometimes thats easier than trying to fix what you break.
