Rooting Galaxy S8+ KingoRoot

Hi all,

I'm trying to root my Galaxy S8+ using KingoRoot and it gets to 100% and says unable to root. Any idea what might be going wrong? I accidentally deleted a few pictures and videos and I'm trying to get them back but it says the only way is root my phone. Any advice??

Depending if its a F or U model if Exynos you have to unlock bootloader if its a snapdragon look up part cyborg rom

It's the G955U model. How do I unlock bootloader?

I believe to if u have the snapdragon u can not ,the international one u can..Samsung makes 2 versions of notes,galaxy ..... the American and international, the international one u can unlock the bootloader, American you cant unless you have the computer help to unlock it....
