Have you been able to download the toolkit? Are the drivers configured?

I think he's been working with Wug's, but I'm not sure where in the process he/she is.

It says my drivers have been properly installed, but when I get to the option to hit 1,2, or 3 if my serial # pops up, nothing shows up.,

Is USB Debugging checked? Did you follow the instructions on the screen?

Yup, it's checked.

No problemo; will be going mobile but I'll check in.

When you go into device manager, can you see your phone both in adb and fastboot? You can also go into advanced options in the toolkit and check to see if the phone can be seen both in adb and fastboot. My guess is you don't have the drivers installed correctly. They took me a bit to get set up as well.

Like I said, hit that link I posted and ask Wug. He will walk you through the process.

You are in the wrong area, sir.. lol...

Although I happen to have spent an evening a couple months ago trying to root my roommate's huaweii ascend. Was not a fun time and I was not successful. Google is your friend for looking up methods.. but even I had to give up on that phone. I believe the more recent ones (if on metropcs) actually shipped almost unrootable, or if they are, there is no developer interest so you might just be out of luck. Sorry!
