Verizon Galaxy S8 Rooting S8

I just found an old S8 in a drawer and am dying to play around and root it. But I cannot for the life of me find any good guide or video that actually works. Anyone know if it's possible? I'm on android 9 and it's a Verizon G950U

Check XDA for root questions. If it is able to root they usually have step by step instructions.
