Rotating screen

Is it me or does the screen rotate a bit too easy on 2.2?
I mean it's at the point where I want to disable it.....

Some people have had limited success with a factory reset. I did one, and it seemed to help.

Can't you just try recalibrating the sensitivity? I personally wish it only rotated to the 270 position(vol buttons up).

Agreed. I only turn it on when I am in the car and need to rotate the screen to text easier. Mine has the bad habit of rotating (270, and 180) but not wanting to come back to the non rotated view. I have recalibrated it several times and I usually have to end up shaking the phone to get it to realize that I am wanting it back to the standard view. Anything thoughts?

I did the phone reset and the rotation is still laggy or it starts an app in landscape even when my phone was not rotated. The only reason I haven't disabled rotation is because I do texting a lot and in the regular keyboard window the keys are too crammed to each other.

I dont have to shake mine hard tho just a little rocking motion like a pendulum sometimes if it doesnt rotate back but most times it rotates back

I have the same results after resetting mine as galactor. Ive calibrated a couple times it didn't help.

that was one of the things i liked about android over my old iphone, that it only rotates 180. Many times with my iphone i would be laying in bed and the screen would just rotate too easily. Now i guess we are back to square one

Uncheck auto rotate but that eliminates it all
