(Rumor) Upgrades Changes coming.....

Not confirmed but I wanted to share this rumor since it is important to me and if I want to stay with Sprint or not...

I did email dan to see if I can get my account corrected since I have been a customer for over 10 years...

Uh oh, if T-Mo gets it's "4g" network panned out fast they may have an advantage. The upgrade every year was a geeks dream.

Why do they think they can play with the big boys? 4G fee's are making their prices as high as Verizon and now they are going to make their upgrade policy actually worse than Verizon? (22 vs 20 months) Common Sprint, seriously?

Silver - $75 upgrade per year or $150 at 22 months.
Requirement:
$69.99 individual plan, or
$99.99 shared plan

Gold - $150 upgrade every year
$89.99 individual plan, or
169.99 shared plan, or
10 years with Sprint.


Lucky for me, nothing changes. I am on a 169.99 shared plan.

I've had sprint for 10+ years, but they were reluctant to give me the premiere customer status when I learned about it last sprng. Wth??? So if they don't recognise my loyalty and make me a gold premiere I may be showing them the finger too.
