Trying to find out why the HELL my battery is draining quicker then a bathtub full of holes......I charge to 100%, I pull and literally in 10-15mins. I am at 90% or below.....any ideas????? I am thinking of trying the lean kernal.....other then that the ROM is BAD ASS!!!! Thanks in advance guys!

yeah... I have an extended battery and I'm running the REGULAR version and it damn near sucked me dry.. like 10% in an hour.

Bump the charge... I really wouldn't call that draining like crazy. Search the forum for proper way to bump charge. This is the result of inaccurate battery reading.

I know what a bump charge is.....not the problem..... I have "bumped charged" several times, calibrated the battery.....and still sucking dry.....how do you not figure losing 5-10% every 5-10mins is not draining like crazy???? Sure as heck is not normal....

If that doesn't work, than you must review all your apps and setting. Might even be a bad battery. I flashed to 1.6 with heavy use in 4g area, over 80 emails on three accounts set to push, foursquare, Facebook, twitter and text. I am now at 16% after 16 and half hour... So I am going to say it's not the rom that is causing the issue.

Have you wiped the battery file?

1.6.1 Remix, 5 hours medium well usage, 65%.

Have you checked spare parts battery history "Partial Wake Usage" and make sure there is nothing too high there?

Also in spare parts battery history make sure "Screen On" and "Running" are close to the same percentage. If they are way off you have something keeping your phone from sleeping.

You should restore your backup and wipe everything, then flash the rom again. You can also try a different kernel with this rom if the baked in one isn't acting properly with your device.

Or you can downgrade to a differnt radio might help

I've done this a couple times and I still get the battery drain.

Interesting to note, when I do a full wipe of everything, my wallpaper and color scheme for the power controls remain in tact. What am I doing wrong?

My battery has been awful since day 1, so I rooted it, flashed bamf remix 1.5 hoping to get better battery performance but to no avail. I cleared the battery stats, bump charged, still same result. I tried the new 1.6 remix & I'm still charging it at least twice per day. I tried bump charging it like 5 times last night & the green light would never come right on, it would always take a few minutes before it changed from orange to green. It was at 100% this morning not even an hour ago & it's already at 96% with minimal use. I'm getting down to my last nerve with this thing. Any other suggestions?

Hey with Bamf 1.6.1 you should change your kernel. Use Imoseyon's "leankernel". I tried the normal and the 192x version and both are awesome with this rom. Battery life is great and no FC or reboots yet and its been three days now. Give it a try and use setcpu on it. I keep mine at around 1.4ghz on both roms with no problems at all! Excellent Quadrant scores. You could also try running an app called "Watchdog", it'll tell you whats using your cpu the most which should also equal to what is draining your battery. Hope this helps because I haven't found a better rom currently for the Thunderbolt than Bamf.

My battery is the only thing I don't like right now, I tried one of the leankernels last night but my reception was god awful. I think I'm gonna test out all the different kernels today & try messing with the setcpu settings, maybe I'll get lucky & find a winning combination
