Hey y'all.
I was wondering if any of you have found a way to successfully run any Windows applications on the Galaxy Note 8?
I did some searching and found an app called 'Wine' (v3.0) which I believe is not an emulator but a compatability layer app type thingy.
It is supposed to let you run .exe apps full screen.
I installed Wine and ran the app. It said 'Setting up the Windows environment' then after that the message dissapears and there's nothing but a black screen. I left it running thinking that maybe it was still loading in the background but after 30 minutes the app window was still a black screen.
So if anyone knows about running Windows apps on the Galaxy Note 8 and has any suggestions for getting Wine to work or know any other apps which might work I'd be very grateful for your help.
Many thanks in advance.
