S 10 Plus-Animation Around Front Camera Not Working?

I noticed that the sides of the cut out does not get that lighting.
I do not see setting-any ideas of what is the issue?

I think the only times I see that light around the camera is when in the camera and switching from the rear camera to the front, and also when the phone is idle and I hit the power button to open the lock screen, I think it is searching for face recognition.

Do you have face recognition set up?

I also have noticed that my LED ring does not light up when switching from the back camera to front camera. I swear it worked before, perhaps the Feb. update did something to break it? It will light up when using facial recognition for lock screen. I'm on a T-Mobile S10+

Weird. I just tried mine and everytime I switch to the front camera it still works. Wonder why yours stopped.

I didn't really notice it not working (don't take that many selfie's) until I saw OP's post and tried. Restarted my phone hoping that may solve it but nada. Do you mind if I ask what variant S10 you have...wondering if it's TMO phones

Spongebob, what version phone do you have? Is it T-Mobile?

I had the same issue, because I had animations turned off in my settings, once I turned them back on It started working again......so check your animations settings.

Thanks mck! That worked! Specifically it was the "Animator duration scale" in Developer Options as I had all the animations in developer options to "off".
