S 24 Ultra or wait for S25 Ultra?

This is my first Ultra since the S22 and I skipped the S23 Ultra because I wanted something a bit smaller and so far I'm glad I'm back...

I also had the S22 Ultra, but I kept it for two years and skipped the S23 models altogether.

Im late and even though most will be moving on to the s25, I'll finally be able to join the s24 crew by the end of the week. Miss S22 ultra will be backup . Lol

Just learned today that the S25 series will be IP69 rated. The biggest improvement over the IP68 rating is its ability to handle more heat. This is attractive to me as sometimes in the summer when I have my phone in my coaching bag it can get hot.

imo, going from s23 to s24 is not an upgrade but a lateral move. It would be best to wait for the s25

I wouldn't expect much differences between the 23 and 25 either. Main reason to upgrade anymore is keep current and stay under warranty. I know they keep tweaking camera software to get people to upgrade.

Currently have the Samsung S23+ and up for an upgrade through T-Mobile. The S24 Ultra 512 gb will be about $25 monthly and the 256 gb $20, the 24 + will be even cheaper around $13 a month for 512 gb. Should I wait for the S25 but not knowing how much they will be and how much of a discount I might be eligible for or just get the 24 Ultra since it's going to be fairly cheap?

One thing for sure if you don't need the spen or the camera extras consider the 24+, it's pretty much the same phone minus those 2 things.

Outside of when Samsung doesnt lose your original phone, they do have excellent replacement/refurbs that look like new.

I have a pristine S21 ULTRA. I was going wait for the s25 ultra but considered 2 things. First, the S24 ULTRA is a big step up from the S21. And then the s25 ultra is expected to be 200.00 more than the S24. Now ad in the new tariffs that are coming. WOW. I took advantage of buying the S24 direct from Samsung. I bought it for 999.00 with no Trae in, and a 512gb free upgrade. So far, I couldn't be happier.
