S Health syncing

My S Health app used to sync at 5 p.m. daily. I would like it to auto sync more than once a day. I have not been able to find any setting to make it sync more than once daily. And currently it is not auto syncing at all even though auto sync is turned on.

Any suggestions?

Hi Skatergirl
I think the auto sync option is only taking care of syncing S Health data from the Phone app to your Samsung account. It has nothing to do with syncing to/from your watch.
As far as I know syncing between watch and Phone is one-way only (from watch to Phone). Syncing will be done every time you open the Phone app. I guess that's why there is no sync frequency setting.

Hi Peter ....

I probably was not clear. I am trying to get the syncing from the S Health app from the phone to my Samsung account more frequently. In S Health under the Samsung account for syncing there is a Auto Sync option. I would like it to sync every time I open the app but it has only been auto syncing at 5 p.m. each day.

You could keep it set to auto sync, and then force a manual sync when you want by going to settings/Samsung account and pressing sync now. Not as automated as just opening the app, but only a couple of extra button presses?

I do have it set on auto sync. I was just curious if there was a Samsung setting to sync it more often on its own. It doesn't look like it.

Yeah, I think Samsung want to keep control of auto sync to themselves. It's the same with the overall sync to Samsung cloud in the phone's settings/accounts. You can only choose auto or sync now, not how often auto syncs in those settings, too.

I just looked at the app and it synced at 8:30 p.m. The sync schedule is acting strange.
