S pen attachment

Just curious if anyone has found a way too make there s pen a little longer. Our if they no of a longer/extended S pen. I like the commuter cases but I can't get the s pen out without a sharp or pointed object (I have a phobia of keeping my fingernails really short).

You could attach a cord to the end of the S-Pen with crazy glue. I haven't seen any S-Pen compatible ones like that, but the idea is good if you can't get it out of its pocket with your fingers.

I was thinking about shaving the very end off and trying to epoxy something onto it. Thanks for the idea though.

So I use this stuff for all kinds of fabricating and molding of stuff.

Amazon.com: InstaMorph - Moldable Plastic - 12 oz

I would get some, heat it up according to the directions and mold it to fit perfectly to the end of the stylus. Let it cool and then superglue or epoxy it permanently on the end of the stylus. You could make it any shape and length you would like.

i dont know if any body has noticed but there is a groove at the top end of metallic cap, probably for inserting nail edge so that one can pull the pen out easily. on the third day of getting my phone i figured out a way to do this even with short nails. but i dont think my english is good enough to describe the process with clarity.

so, here's another idea - you can tie a thin thread in that groove (the groove is all around and continuous almost like a neck- a hangman's loop only tighter believe me the pen is not gonna suffocate- it can take it- being wacom and all , lol), and you can tie the free ends of the resultant knot to anything ( a key chain loop, a spare cufflink - anything with a hole to thread) then you can always pull out your pen if you yank that thread ( i m a med student and so i have heard about some archaic IUDs which women used to use earlier, this mechanism provided them the ease to remove it whenever they needed and also they could check if the device was still there or not - by simply feeling the thread which used to hang)

also there is another modification to the idea- to the key chain loop attached to the thread , you can further loop in one of those old identity card ribbons and this way you can wear it around your neck, incase you are the forget ful kind. use white or chrome finished stuff to not wreck the elegance of your note3 colour scheme or get creative and make it personal with a leather/faux leather tag - with your name like etched on it.

and by the way - are there any students/professionals who happen to be avid spen warriors who are using the handwriting functionality to the fullest? i would like to join that club.

So I have been using that plastic stuff for all kinds of projects for about 3 years. I am on my second container of it, it goes a long ways and is re-usable. Be warned if the project you use it for gets above about 120 degrees Fahrenheit it will become pliable. I think I would go for the superglue to start with. They sell some superglue curing agent but I use a trick shown me by a professional car body repair guy a long time ago. A little pinch of baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, cures liquid superglue instantly. It is a little tricky but works great when you get the hang of it. I usually buy the superglue that is a little thicker than stores carry. Like this stuff:

if the CA does not work use some JB weld two part epoxy.
