I don't have the international version.... Can anyone confirm that it is supposed to say "about devices?" Mine says "about phone." devices vs device?

Mine says "About device" a note 3 from Telus Canada

All I can say is that its a really well made fake. It would have definitely fooled someone who wasn't too keen on doing a lot of investigation, like one of my parents for example. I had never owned one before either or used one for that matter(I just got rid of a blackberry) so I wasn't sure what to expect. It does run pretty smoothly though.

Oh, I forgot to mention this as well. When I tried activating it at a metro PCs, it was apparently already activated in Florida by T-Mobile so I had to wait until the 28th for the cycle to end. What's strange is that the "new" phone had been shipped from a completely different state and the seller swore she hadn't activated it either. The box HAD been opened, but the seller's explanation was that it was a gift that she didn't really like so she decided to sell it.

This is the message I received from e-bay:

Seller's info is blurred out for her own protection because I'm giving her the benefit of a doubt, but if things don't work out, I'll leak her username so that hopefully others don't fall into the same trap.

Now it's just a waiting game.

Just out of curiosity, does the plug have an Underwriters Laboratory seal on it? Every Chinese knock off plug is missing the UL seal at the 8 o'clock position on the back of the plug. I bought two without it and they drained my Note 3 and got super hot. Found a seller with true OEM cords and plugs and it works just like the original one that came with my phone.

Could you upload a picture showing me where it is? I can't seem to locate "Underwriters Laboratory" anywhere but I don't want to say it doesn't have it without knowing where it's supposed to be.

I don't see any "UL" and additionally it's one made in china(as well as the battery).

On a side note, the seller has promised me a full refund in a week as the money has been used for tuition purposes, according to him/her. I'm going to give it a week.

Sadly, that is definitely a knock off. Looks just like the two I got that I had to throw away.

I'm glad the person is being a stand up, honest person. Hopefully they'll follow through without further ado. Keep an eye on the time though, eBay gives you a limited amount of time to dispute a transaction. 45 days, I think, but I'd check with eBay just to be sure.

Can you let us know what happens? I'm kinda vested in this saga, lol. Good luck!

I had a feeling. @@ I'll keep you all up to date with any new information.

The week I'm giving her ends on January 19th and eBay has given me until February 10th to resolve the issue so I have some leeway. In addition to that, she's offered to let me keep the phone with a 200$ refund, but I don't think I'm getting enough phone for 275 dollars so I've refused that offer. Haven't heard anything else since, but it's only been a day and people are quite busy.

It looks like it's back on eBay...

I don't think it's my old one. haha The "M" on the back started peeling off on mine so I can tell. And I just sent it through UPS yesterday so there's no way it could have already arrived to NC which is where I sent it. It is a fake though. 16G? That's all the info I need.
