Hi Guys
I bought the galaxy Note 2 a few weeks ago and was impressed and just bought it's big brother the Galaxy Note 10.1.

Over the last few weeks I've got used to clicking the "T and pencil" icon on the keyboard and using my Note 2's s-pen in place of the keyboard keys for writing mails or whatever. However there doesn't seem to be a "T & pencil" icon on the 10.1's keyboard so I have to use the keyboard keys and not the S-pen, unless I'm in S-notes. Is this right or am I overlooking a setting so that I can use the S-pen in place of keyboard keys???

Regards,
Graham

Just to the left of the Space bar, Long press the icon that looks like a microphone and that should bring up that option.I use the S pen for almost everything except password.

Me too!!! An my handwriting is not that great - but I get very good accuracy with writing. It's awesome!!

I have the same issue as you ... long pressing the gears/microphone doesn't give me the T on my Note 10.1 that I have on my Note II.

I resolved the issue by switching my keyboard language to English(US). It was in French (CA).
