S pen issues

My s pen has become faulty. Doesn't write on most areas of the screen, it trails off. For the past 3 months I haven't been able to use it and that sucks because I really love using the pen. I don't use a magnetic case, most times I use the phone naked and once in a while throw on a cheap plastic case. I've tried clearing cache and all. Please help!

Have you tried changing the tip of your pen? I know mine came with replacement ones. Is the tip looking in rough shape?
