S Pen on Samsung Tab A July 2016

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Samsung Tab A, released in July 2016 is compatible with the S Pen? I've tried Note 4 pen on one in the shop with no luck but I was not sure if it needs to be enabled in the settings.

There are two versions of the Tab A. One comes with a S-Pen and one doesn't. If the Tab A you're looking at doesn't already have a S Pen, then more than likely, the Wacom layer isn't present. Talk to the retailer where you saw the tablet... they should know the hardware they're selling... well, maybe!

My experience is those retailers probably don't have the knowledge/experience to answer this question.
Your best solution is to use the Note 4 pen on the tablet and see if it works.

Also the tablet has some drawing Apps pre-installed so you can use that to test out if pressure sensitivity is there and thus S-Pen supported.
