How often do they need to be changed assuming heavy use (scrolling, swyping keyboard, etc)?

Any recommendations for a third party pen that looks and feels like an actual pen?

Lol go Monte blanc. I have no issues with my s pen. I like it for the most part besides the accidental tap of the button.

On my note 10.1 2014 the point started dragging after about 12mths of use.

I've never had to change an S pen tip. I used the original galaxy note and the note 3 before getting the note 4

Been using the pen on my Note8 for almost 2 years and it's still like new. My Note2 is about a year and half old and still fine with its tip. Lollipop made the s pen on this Note4 even more sensitive so I barely touch the screen now and it's flawless. I expect unless I break the tip it'll last indefinitely add light add I need to touch now.
