S Planner time zones

Ever since I updated to 4.1.2 my calendar appointments are showing 2 times zones, Eastern Daylight Time -4:00 (wrong one), and Eastern Standard Time -5:00 (right one). Even when I specifically select EST when scheduling the appointment, I get EDT as well. I have set EST in the settings. Anyone know how to correct this? This is causing a fair bit of confusion and is quite irritating.
