S View flip cover for the Edge?

With out the cover it works perfectly normal. It's the flip case that's the issue

That's pretty sucky. They should put an option in so you can choose to have that panel behave like it has no case. Is there a place to send suggestions to Samsung about improvements and ideas? I have a couple of minor annoyances too.

I do not think it's legit. It does not have the chip in it that enables the s view cover to work. I would not trust it. The official samsung flip case requires you replace your battery cover with the case. As you can see in the photo.....the chip connector on the official samsung flip case.

They make after market s view and edge wallet combined on eBay but the window and edge features don't work.. Eye have a Samsung official wallet and a after market and the official case is only 40bucks and can use it while the case is closed.. Looks extra slim and sleek

The contact has be added to the emergency dialer. Tap the + sign to add it, then you'll be able to call from the lock screen

I like mine and have had it for 6 weeks. However, the cover stopped functioning in that the phone no longer sleeps when cover closed nor awakens when cover opened.

Try pulling the phone apart from the case and then reconnecting it. Maybe the connections aren't making good contact. I read before where this fixed the problem for someone.

The cover is more rigid at first, but it gets better pretty quickly. Putting a card helps it a lot, weighs down the color.

I got the case yesterday, works great, maybe a touch harder with volume rockers but nothing to worry about, they work with with case closed. I wouldn't of thought of it till i read your question and checked. The magnetic closure is nice and gives you the date time on the edge panel when you close it. Definitely worth it. I use Nova launcher but am having trouble with it crashing every now and again. Its a great phone i had a note 4 for a week got it cheap second hand but like the Edge better.

I loved the Edge flip case and would not ask anything more since you already have the edge where the S view options should also appear.
