S Voice not working for messaging

I have just got a new S3 Frontier, and when I try to respond to a text message with S Voice it gives me a voice input failed. Anyone familiar with this?
 
Does any one ever search posts before they just ask a question?
Switch voice to UK English and problem solved.

Thanks for the workaround, but problem is not solved. Shouldn't have to do that.
 
There is no resolution for this Samsung is aware but says there is no problem, so for now this is the work around of how we're dealing with it
 
It is a work around and it should work fine... but we really shouldn't have to do it. Between this and my Amex card occasionally throwing an error that i have to delete and re-add it every couple of weeks those are the only 2 issues I have with this watch.
 
Heads up for everyone, Samsung pushed out an update for the Gear S3 this morning (8/9) specifically for S-voice and appears to have resolved the issue. Go ahead and update your watch software if you haven't already.
 
Working now... hopefully they fixed the AMEX card bug. So I don't have to keep deleting and re-uploading my card to the watch.
 
Well mine has been working in US English it did fail that way before but has been OK, so we'll see what's up with the patch updates hopefully all is well
 
Confirmation that this has resolved the US English/UK English workaround requirement on my Bluetooth S3 frontier.
