S Voice on Note 5 Slow?

has anyone noticed that the S Voice function is a bit slow to open up, voice command to wake up S Voice is variable, and the results seem slow too. anyway to speed things up?

Why waste your time with S Voice? Google now is what you should be using.

I prefer s-voice simply because I can use the wake up command of my choosing.
Ok google sounds stupid to me.

S-voice opens immediately for me, or the rare occasions that I use it.

Yes, it's been slow on every phone I've had it on.
Like someone else mentioned google now is the choice for voice commands.

S-Voice works from a secure lock screen. I've used SV and GN both on various phones. I find SV does much better at recognizing speech also.
