I currently have an S7 edge with a 200gb card. My only issue is with the internal storage filling up.

I have pre-ordered the S10+ 512GB ceramic black. I could have had the 1TB for around £206 (UK) more.

I figured I won't need the extra 4GB ram as I don't game and I've read most stuff will be optimized for the more popular 8GB models anyway. I can get a 512GB Samsung evo card for around £100 and if/when I really need one they will no doubt be cheaper.

I still however have a nagging doubt I should have gone all out for the 1TB one though.

Unless you are moving huge files (or apps??!?), you don't need it. Also, the phones battery will most likely die before you fill it up ANNNDDDDD can you imagine having all that info and then losing it when the battery dies!?! These are my humble personal opinions of course.

You don't need a 1TB phone. ;)

It's all personal preference but unless you are trying to land the Space Shuttle or running a small country, it is a bit of overkill.
Just my $.02

Mav.
He may not be landing the space shuttle now, or running a small country, but it's nice to have the option to do so in case the opportunity comes up! Lol

I have the Note 9 with 256. If I was approved for financing, I was thinking about getting the S10+ black ceramic 512Gb. That's more than enough

I would like a 1TB micro sd card though so when its time to move on, I just grab card and slip into new device w/o losing my info! I'm a data hoarder.....sue me!

I don't but I went for the 512GB because of the Ceramic back.

I can always exchange it.

I don't need 512GB but I wanted the ceramic white. I don't know a single person who needs 1TB.

OR downloading a lot of smut videos

You don't lose what's on internal storage when the battery dies. It will still be there after you charge your phone.

Truth of the matter that porn has driven a lot of technology changes over the years. Storage being one of them. Video files will only get larger over time when we expect higher resolutions.

I have 100 GB of high quality music I like to have with me at all times. SD cards are slow, so having a lot of internal storage is helpful. Maybe not 1 TB worth, but definitely more than most people.

It's not a need, but a want. Go for it, I say. I did (ceramic black, 1TB). Welcome to the (sick) club! Lol
