Just saw another thread after asking where it was brought up. I was mostly confused as I felt pretty confident it hasn't been released yet. And it's slow as balls anyway

Yeah...ATT pulled the same shenanigans with 4G a while back. The ultimate irony in this conversation is that 3G, 4G, or 5G it's just a generic term that really doesn't mean anything as far as actual speed because it's just the next generation.

It's LTE with carrier aggregation. Basically the same stuff T-Mobile and Verizon have been doing for awhile.. AT&T just wants to make it something different to act like they have something others don't.
