I want to get the S10 5G just for the ToF cameras.

Not sure I’m really seeing much of a difference in rear cameras between this 5G and the 10 +

so I love the bigger display. fingerprint scanner seems better as well. going to reprogram my fingerprints in the S10+ and see if that helps. definitely keeping the 5G though.

what about the TOF camera on the S10 5G? This must be real... there is no doubt the S10 5G is quite a step ahead compared to the S10+ you certainly know the list of differences. It also seems the flash memory is the newer and much faster 3.0 version.

You'll be able to redeem it using the shop samsung app starting on 5/30; once the return window ends.

Loving mine. I got it for the bigger screen, battery and the extra camera.
5G will be the cherry on top.

I just checked the status of my VIP kit - it's backordered. Bummer.

I'm still waiting on my Galaxy Buds from my S10+ that I use for work too. Crazy.

Correct. The ToF camera isn't just marketing. DxOMark (not that the score matters) scored the cameras on the S10 5G currently tied (with P30 Pro) as the best smartphone cameras on the market.

There's conflicting reports about USF 3.0 though.

I have both the s10+ here and the 5G version. I'm not seeing any difference in camera quality. Maybe it's just me

Same quality but the TOF sensor will help with subject separation for live focus shots and videos.

As a glutton for punishment, I grabbed an S10 5G today on my Verizon account as the AT&T service which my S10+ is connected to is really getting on my nerves. I will be making comparisons between the two.

Personally, I’m noticing most pics coming out a touch darker on the 5G compared with the 10+.

No. Not yet really. I’ve done some editing. I will dig into settings soon.

You think TOF sensor could be culprit for darker photos?

Possibly but I would think it may result in more blurry pics than dark.

My main line is an AT&T account that work pays for. I have a Pixel 3XL and S10+ I switch around on the line. Also have a T-Mobile line on a friends account I have an iPhone XS Max on and can switch it around. I ordered a OnePlus 7 Pro, but for some reason I want to try the S10 5G on Verizon. I would only have access to 5G when visiting downtown Chicago which is usually only a handful of times a month, suburbs don't have it yet. I actually ordered one on Best Buy with a package the other night, but for some reason they couldn't activate so the order was cancelled and now Verizon won't let me create another order and I really don't feel like calling them to straighten it out, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise and I should just wait for the AT&T version. Let us know what you think of it though.
