I recently got the regular s22 and noticed it takes insanely long to charge on my GMC truck factory charging console. My previous s10 was significantly faster. I have fast wireless charging turned on. What is up with that?
I did enable all 3, fast charging, super fast charging and fast wireless charging. It did not make a difference. If my phone is say 40% and I put it on the GMC charging pad it will say about 2 hours and 15 minutes. My s10 would be more like 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Yes, I have an otterbox symmetry case and did try taking it off but there was no change in the time til fully charged. I also noticed sometimes when driving down the road it stops charging and then starts again a few seconds later. I had no issues with my s10 and my wife still have no issues with her s10, it's only this phone. I'm stumped and on the verge of returning it.
After this suggestion I just tried it in my car that has a cheap Amazon pad and I have a genuine samsung 12v charger and cable plugged into it. It is the same outcome.
