S10 freezes aftet taking video with front camera

Title says it all. Doesn't happen every time but it's incredibly frustrating when it does. It requires me to do a reset holding the volume down and power buttons as nothing else works even a restart. It used to just freeze for maybe 10 seconds but now it freezers indefinitely.

I literally just talked to a friend that has a note 9 that this exact thing is happening. Started doing it after last update.

Which troubleshooting steps? I've done restarts, cleared my memory, my sd card has plenty of space, everything is up to date. Do you have any other suggestions?

Oh for real? I couldn't remember if it started happening after the update or not but maybe that's the cause!

I don't know, he's been doing the same things you've been doing.

I've heard that snap chat was causing issues if you use that , if not try long pressing the camera app >,tap info> go to storage clear data,cache, force stop it

I don't use snapchat and I tried clearing data and cache but the problem still persists. Occasionally is just take ages for the phone to save a video and other times I have to do a hard restart

Have you tried removing your SD card ?
